Background: A purpose built 1965 Mustang Coupe
This Mustang placed 5th and 3rd in the highly competitive ”Historica C” class in the 1999 and 2000 La Carrera Panamericana Road Race with novice drivers. Known as “La Vaca de Hierro”, The Cow of Iron, this car was sponsored by U.S. companies Land O’Lakes and General Mills/Betty Crocker. The Mustang is also nicknamed by the Mexican Race Director as the “Fastest Cow in all of Mexico”.
